WWE Roadblock 2016: A title change imminent?

WWE has some interesting title changes planned for Roadblock

WWE RAW-exclusive pay-per-view Roadblock: End of the Line comes to us live from PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania tomorrow night. On the eve of 2016’s last PPV, Allwrestlingnews.com has reported that at least one major title shall change hands on Roadblock.

While it has not been established as to which title would get a new holder, the same reports have hinted that the New Day’s fairytale run may finally come to an end.

The card of Roadblock: End of the Line, features four title bouts. So let us analyze all four match-ups, and examine which title can end up with a new holder:

Kevin Owens (c) vs. Roman Reigns (Singles match for the WWE Universal Championship)

The crown prince of WWE’s flagship show, Kevin Owens is set to defend his WWE Universal Title against The Big Dog, Roman Reigns. If Reigns manages to come out on top, he will exit Pittsburgh Arena as a dual champion. (WWE Universal Championship and WWE United States Champion).

The buildup of the main event has seen Reigns besting Owens multiple times, on both RAW and brand exclusive live shows. He has dominated the feud and with WWE backing him up, the night can culminate in his favor.

Another factor that supports his case is the falling out between Jericho and Owens. Y2J was quintessential in Owen’s title defense against Seth Rollins. He interfered in all of their matches and helped Owens continue his lukewarm title reign.

However, the two best friends have parted ways recently, and unless Triple H interferes in the proceedings, it is safe to say that Reigns might achieve the elusive feat.
