WWE/ROH News: ROH World Champion Dalton Castle joins the Cruise of Jericho
What's the story?
Ring of Honor announced on their Twitter page this morning that their ROH World Champion, Dalton Castle, is the latest to sign up on Chris Jericho's cruise called the Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea.
In case you didn't know...
This cruise of Jericho will not only host a Sea of Honor wrestling tournament, it will have live band performances from Fozzy and several other bands as well as comedy acts from Jim Breuer, Ron Funches, and Brad Williams.
The heart of the matter
Take a look at the official announcement from Ring of Honor below:
The addition of Castle brings the total number of ROH wrestling talent to 13. The ROH wrestling lineup includes Jay Lethal, The Young Bucks, Cody and Brandi Rhodes, Marty Scrull, The Briscoes, Adam Page, Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, and Delirious.
Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler will serve as the hosts on the event, and they will be joined by special guests including Diamond Dallas Page, Mick Foley, Rey Mysterio, and many more.
The cruise takes place from 27 to 31 October, and for more information, you can visit the official cruise website. It will take off from Miami, Florida and head towards Nassau in the Bahamas.
What's next?
Next up for Jericho is a Fozzy tour in the United States. They will kick off the next round of dates on 28 February at The House Of Blues in New Orleans, Louisiana. The tour will wrap up on 8 April in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, coincidentally enough, on the day of WrestleMania.
Author's take
Jericho is definitely doing a great job in signing the top talent from Ring of Honor to compete on his cruise. It'd be interesting to see a promo or even a match between Dalton Castle and Chris Jericho. The theatrics of that match would be just as amazing as the action in the ring.
