Josh Bredl to be 'punished' for his comments in the Royal Rumble match?

Bredl is currently facing some massive backstage heat

Tough Enough winner Josh Bredl, now known as Bronson Mathews on NXT, is facing heat from all corners due to him labelling the Social Outcasts as ‘jobbers’ on social networking site Twitter.

It was considered disrespectful by his peers, who thought that Bredl had no right to form such an opinion as he literally got a ticket into the franchise due to winning Tough Enough and not the hard way like the others.

His comments may prove costly for him in the future.

Bredl, who was awarded a $250,000 contract by WWE, is already disliked by his peers due to him earning much more than any of his colleagues and the Twitter incident has only added fuel to the fire.

The 24-year-old could face the full force of the heat he is undergoing on Sunday, during the Royal Rumble, from the NXT roster who will be present at the event – which is set to take place in Orlando. The feeling of thrusting Bredl into the Royal Rumble for a hazing is shared by many, and could very well become a reality this weekend.

Thursday saw talks of throwing Bredl into the deep at the 30-man event, but nothing has been set in stone yet.

If Bredl eventually does get hazed, he won’t be the first Tough Enough alumni to meet such a fate, with 2004’s Tough Enough winner, Daniel Puder, getting punished on the Rumble by Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit and Hardcore Holly for embarrassing WWE legend Kurt Angle during a taping a few months prior.

Puder’s hazing turned out to be his final appearance on WWE, with the franchise releasing him a few months after, and that could very well be Bredl’s fate if he doesn’t put his muscle where his mouth is.
