WWE Royal Rumble 2019: 5 reasons why Becky Lynch won the Women's Royal Rumble

She did it. The Man Becky Lynch won the Royal Rumble, to the obvious delight of fans. Charlotte Flair was the odds on favourite to win the Rumble match, and after Becky Lynch lost clean to Asuka in the opening match of the night, there was a lot of uncertainty.

However, Lana entered at #28 and was limping. She was involved in Rusev's match against Shinsuke Nakamura earlier, and Nakamura made Rusev bump into Lana, who fell on the mat and seemingly injured her ankle. With Nia Jax entering at #29 and attacking Lana, it was a certainty that The Ravishing Russian wouldn't be able to make it to the match.

Becky Lynch then walked out to a huge pop. She demanded that with Lana clearly unfit to compete, she was a better option as a replacement. Fit Finlay, who seemed to be the authority at that moment for some reason, hesitated before finally giving The Man the green light to go ahead.

Becky Lynch would go on to eliminate Nia Jax and finally Charlotte Flair to win the Royal Rumble. She was the best choice, and here's why she won the contest.

#5. Moving to RAW

This is a no-brainer. Becky Lynch has been one of the most important superstars on SmackDown Live since her draft to the brand in 2016. She was the first female pick and the first-ever SmackDown Women's Champion.

She's been one of the most integral parts of the brand and it's hard to imagine her away from team blue. However, as she's gotten bigger, WWE clearly wants to move her to the "bigger" show, which, unfortunately, or fortunately, happens to be RAW.

It looks like Becky Lynch will be making the jump to the red brand. It could be as soon as the latest RAW or it could be after the Elimination Chamber or Fastlane.
