What's the story?

WWE Monday Night RAW Superstar Alexa Bliss is reportedly dealing with multiple concussions, according to the Wrestling Observer.

In case you didn't know

Since joining the main roster in 2016, Bliss has been one of WWE's most pushed women, capturing five women's championships across RAW and SmackDown Live.

At Summerslam 2018, Bliss lost the RAW Women's Championship to Ronda Rousey, and failed in her rematch at Hell In A Cell.

The heart of the matter

In recent weeks, Bliss has been pulled from all matches, with the petite Powerhouse adopting a managerial role, accompany Alicia Fox and Mickie James in a losing effort to Trish Stratus and Lita at Evolution.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, analyst Dave Meltzer said Bliss has suffered multiple concussions in a short period of time.

"The situation is there's been a lot of talk going on with her. So it was not just a concussion, she's actually had multiple concussions in a short period of time. So that's why they're so cautious with her right now. I thought it was more than one but it's not. I don't know the number, I just know there's more than one. That's not a good thing."

There have also been rumors of Bliss transitioning to an authoritative role, if these rumored concussions lead to the end of her in-ring wrestling career.

What's next?

Next week on RAW, Bliss will announce her picks for Team RAW in the 5-on-5 Women's Elimination Match at Survivor Series.

WWE Survivor Series will take place November 18, at the Staples Center, in Los Angeles, California, and will be the 32nd event under the name.

The show will focus on inter-promotional matches, with RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey facing SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch, and WWE Champion AJ Styles facing Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.
