WWE Rumor Roundup

In today's roundup, we take a look at why Lacey Evans wore boots that had Becky Lynch's face on them and the Superstar WWE are desperate to keep hold of!

But before we get to that, make sure you listen to Sportskeeda's new podcast that has got former WWE Superstar, Darren Young aka Fred Rosser on it!

Without further ado, let's kick things off with the top headliner-makers of the day:

Luke Harper applies for new in-ring name

Luke Harper is set to leave WWE in the next few months once his contract expires. The former Intercontinental champion had asked for his release earlier this year but WWE did not grant it to him.

Harper has now applied for a trademark for potentially his new in-ring name once he leaves the company. The trademark is for Brodie Lee and was applied for on November 26th.

The purpose of the trademark is listed on the official website as “Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.” That clearly means that his in-ring name at whichever company he moves to will be Brodie Lee.

Apart from the Intercontinental championship, Harper has won the SmackDown Tag-Team titles twice and also the NXT title once. However, he will forever be remembered as a member of the Wyatt family by the majority of the WWE Universe.

Ziggler takes a dig at Goldberg

Dolph Ziggler is not a fan of Goldberg and that is common knowlegde for the WWE fans. The former WWE Champion took a dig at the Hall of Famer on Twitter after it was annoucned that Goldberg would be the next guest on Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast – Broken Skull Sessions.

Ziggler tweeted: “Wouldn’t it be great if there was someone in the WWE locker room now, full time, with a lot of insight & didn’t care who he pi**ed off? Or you can just bring me in for the Goldberg interview (I’d be doing all the work, anyway)”

Ziggler faced Goldberg at SummerSlam this year and was defeated within minutes. He also revealed last month that WWE initally wanted him squashed but he somehow got the match to last longer.
