So without further ado, let's dive right in and take a look at WWE's biggest stories and rumors:
#5 Jim Cornette got angry backstage after Randy Orton's match against John Cena
Former WWE Superstar Eugene recently spoke on Talk is Jericho. Eugene talked about the time when OVW Promoter Jim Cornette lost his cool after a match between Randy Orton and John Cena exceeded the set time limit.
Jim Cornette was the head booker of OVW at the time John Cena and Randy Orton were both part of WWE's developmental territory. Eugene revealed that Cornette was very upset with the future WWE Champions for going over the time limit by over two minutes. Cornette got so upset that he started hitting his own car with a baseball bat.
''They went over like two minutes and 17 seconds, something like that. I remember Cena coming back doing his tape, it was a good match. Like, ‘Yeah, we did really good. Corny [Jim Cornette] is, ‘God damn, two minutes and 17 seconds?’ Gets his baseball bat and starts beating the windows in the building down from us, hitting his car. Randy just left when he came back. Yeah, every now and then it [Cornette’s frustrations] came out."
While Randy Orton and John Cena have faced each other countless times in WWE, the two men were apparently opponents just twice during their stint in OVW.
