Rumored WrestleMania 32 opponent for The Undertaker
It is that time of the year when speculations surrounding Undertaker’s WrestleMania opponent dominate the wrestling world.
Bryan Alvarez from Wrestling Observer notes that WWE is planning on having Braun Strowman go up against Big Show at Fastlane, that would build up the Blacksheep for a huge WrestleMania 32 match with none other than the Undertaker.
The Wyatts are without an opponent at Fastlane, with their no.1 target – Brock Lesnar being involved in the Triple threat main event. Also, Strowman eliminated Big Show in the Royal Rumble match which acts as the foundation for the possible one-off feud.
It should also be noted that Big Show came out to save Reigns and Ambrose from the Wyatt’s beatdown on Smackdown, which further acts as indicators to the things to come.
If the rumors are to be true, Strowman would destroy Big Show at Fastlane and then go on to face Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 – which could be The Deadman’s last outing at the pay-per-view that is synonymous with his name.
Considering the history between the Wyatts and Undertaker, the match-up makes sense from a storyline perspective, but is a raw Strowman the right man for the job?
We reported earlier that Vince McMahon was also backing Strowman as an unstoppable monster and was also up for the Strowman-Undertaker bout at one point. Strowman, who has also been rumored to face Brock Lesnar, seems to be in the thick of WWE’s plans and only time will tell what the WWE has in store for him.
