What's the story?

It's WrestleMania season and the speculation regarding The Undertaker's appearance are predictably circulating.

While it was initially thought that the Deadman won't make to this year's Show of Shows, WrestleVotes has confirmed that he would indeed be making his presence felt at the event in New Jersey.

In case you didn't know...

Ever since losing to the team of Triple H and Shawn Michaels at Crown Jewel last year, The Phenom has been enjoying his time away from the spotlight of the WWE.

After years of carefully protecting his gimmick, 'Taker finally broke tradition and appeared at many conventions and meet-and-greets in recent months. He has had two 'out-of-character' interviews with pastor Ed Young in which the WWE legend was at his captivating best. He gave fascinating insights into his character, life as a pro wrestler and his relationship with wife Michelle McCool, amongst other things.

We highly recommend you to check it out if you haven't already.

There were reports flying around about 'Taker's apparent desire to move away from the WWE but those can be put to rest as Vince McMahon does want of his greatest employees to grace the biggest platform in pro wrestling on April 7th, 2019.

The heart of the matter

WrestleVotes has grown to be a trusted source when it comes to backstage scoops and naturally enough, the Twitter handle was flooded with questions regarding the Undertaker's status for WrestleMania 35.

As stated above, 'Taker will be used in some capacity but his exact role is and will continue to be shrouded in mystery until WWE eventually drops an official announcement. We, as always, will keep you updated on any new developments.

What's next?

The Deadman has stated in a recent interview that he still intends on wrestling a few more matches, however, he would prefer a much lighter schedule, unlike the one he had last year.
