WWE Rumors: Interesting update on Dean Ambrose's WWE future
What’s the story?
On Tuesday, the wrestling world was whipped into a frenzy when it was reported that Dean Ambrose would be leaving WWE when his contract expires in April, with WWE confirming the news shortly thereafter.
But will he be back on television or even wrestle for the company again? PWInsider.com have delivered an update on the situation.
In case you didn’t know…
Ambrose spent a surprisingly short time on our screens during the Royal Rumble, being eliminated in super-quick time - a match won by the man he's recently been feuding with and the man he interrupted the following night on RAW, former SHIELD brother Seth Rollins.
A disgruntled Dean Ambrose interrupted Rollins' celebration on Monday before barbing with Triple H himself, and a match was then made where Rollins bested his former best friend. Ambrose then grabbed a chair and took a seat in the ring, but was confronted by the woman whose time he was eating up in Nia Jax. It was confirmed the very next day that Ambrose would be leaving WWE.
The heart of the matter
Despite handing in his notice and WWE confirming that he'll be leaving the company shortly, PWInsider.com have reported that we will see Dean Ambrose again.
The former WWE Champion is scheduled to appear at tonight's live event in Saskatoon and is also currently scheduled for upcoming TV tapings.
What’s next?
Well, will we see Dean Ambrose on RAW next week? Only time will tell. The plan is for the former WWE Champion to appear on WWE television and at live shows until his contract expires in April - but plans can always change.
