WWE Rumors: Another segment added to WrestleMania card?
What's the story?
As WrestleMania 35 inches ever closer, things have been changing on an almost weekly basis during episodes of Raw and SmackDown.
WrestleVotes is reporting that in the WrestleMania Program that is set to go to print, something was present in the program that may not have already been advertised to the WWE Universe.
In case you didn't know...
During the build up to the Grandest Stage of Them All, matches have been changed more than once.
What was originally going to be Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey became Charlotte Flair vs. Rousey and then a triple threat with all three once Lynch 're-earned' her spot in the match.
WWE also had Flair win the SmackDown Women's Title last week and also turned the match into a 'Winner Take All' bout after Stephanie McMahon's announcement last night on Raw.
The heart of the matter
While it is good to know what to expect to see at the actual show, sometimes the surprises that do happen are just as memorable.
Stipulations were added to matches after they were made official, like Shane McMahon vs. The Miz becoming 'Falls Count Anywhere' and the Batista vs. Triple H match first being 'No Holds Barred' and then for Triple H's in-ring career as well.
With the constant alterations made to the main event of WrestleMania 35, WrestleVotes reports that we shouldn't be surprised if another match is added or somehow altered between now and Sunday.
Elias is slated to have a performance unlike any other, so perhaps something happens to interrupt his performance.
An impromptu match could also be something that isn't advertised as John Cena or The Undertaker could show up.
The Rock showed up and beat Erick Rowan a few years ago while Elias and Cena had an interaction last year before The Undertaker beat Cena.
Regarding a new match, there are the Raw Tag Team Titles that are still up to be defended but without an opponent. Or if someone is injured, then perhaps a new opponent is needed for a match.
What's next?
Every day lends the possibility of something new being added to the card or a match being altered to stem any potential injuries that may happen between now and the actual show.
WWE may announce something on Twitter leading up to the show to promote whatever this might be or they may even just run with it happening at 'Mania. I guess WWE will try to keep us guessing until something is confirmed.
