WWE Rumors: Communication issues during Survivor Series main event

Is this why the match didn't live up to the hype?

When RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch, SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley and NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler squared off at Survivor Series in the main event, the match failed to live up to the expectations of many in the WWE Universe.

The chemistry between the three stars seemed off, the live crowd in Chicago wasn't feeling it, and Vince McMahon was reportedly very displeased with how the match turned out.

So what went wrong? According to a report from Fightful Select, it may have been a communication issue.

“Adam Pearce and Sarah Stock produced the WWE Survivor Series main event match between Becky Lynch, Shayna Baszler, Bayley match. We’re told that there was a struggle to communicate from backstage to what was going on in the ring, but weren’t told if that had to do with some kind of equipment malfunction or otherwise”.

The match was designed to put Baszler over in a big way, but despite its underwhelming nature, her standing backstage does not seem to have been affected.

Next up for 'the Queen of Spades' appears to be a program with Rhea Ripley. Meanwhile, Bayley and Sasha Banks mixed it up with Lacey Evans on SmackDown, while Becky Lynch has been pretty much M.I.A since Survivor Series.

Local adverts, however, suggest that The Man and Charlotte will be challenging the Kabuki Warriors for the Women's Tag Team Championships at TLC on December, 15th.
