What's the story?

With the confirmation of AJ Styles re-signing with the WWE, an update regarding the future of Styles' fellow Club stablemates Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows has also emerged, as per PWInsider.

In case you didn't know...

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson first made the jump to WWE back in 2016 from New Japan Pro Wrestling when the former three-time IWGP Tag Team Champions attacked Roman Reigns on Monday Night Raw.

Popularly known as The Good Brothers, Anderson and Gallows found a solid amount of success during their first few months in the WWE, as they formed The Club with AJ Styles and helped 'The Phenomenal One' in defeating John Cena before the trio went their separate paths thanks to the draft.

In 2017, Gallows and Anderson won their first titles in the WWE, winning the Raw Tag Team Championships at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. And a brief reunion with their former Bullet Club leader Finn Balor on Raw also led to another solid yet short run on the red brand.

During the 2018 Superstar Shake-up, The Good Brothers were drafted over to SmackDown Live and have barely made it to television in recent months.

The heart of the matter

According to a recent report from PWInsider [H/T SEScoops], Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have been reportedly pulled from all of their upcoming scheduled WWE Live Events, leading to the speculation that the duo might indeed be on their way out of WWE.

It has been said that the duo has also reportedly turned down a five-year contract extension with the company and will wait on making their next big decision. There is a major shift in the wrestling business, thanks to the introduction of All Elite Wrestling and the growth of NJPW as well.

The Good Brothers are currently booked for only TV tapings and PPVs at the moment and their last appearance on TV was way back on 5th February when they lost to Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev.

What's next?

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are currently not in contention to make it to this year's WrestleMania card and with their current contracts set to expire within the next few months, it'll be interesting to see what decision The Good Brothers will eventually make.

It seems pretty likely that they will look to move away from WWE once their current contract expires.
