WWE Rumors: Major details revealed on CM Punk's return to Pro Wrestling
What's the story?
As reported by Fightful and Barstool Sports, additional details have surfaced on CM Punk's appearance at an MKE Wrestling event.
Reportedly, this isn't the first time Punk has made an appearance like this since leaving WWE.
In case you didn't know...
Recently, CM Punk shook the wrestling world to its very core by appearing at a wrestling show and going at it inside the squared circle.
Punk came out during a match at an MKE Wrestling event, delivered a GTS on one of the wrestlers, and left the spot in a hurry. It's worth noting here that Punk wore a mask and a black outfit resembling a ninja, which is exactly what Punk had foreshadowed 3 years ago, on being asked about a potential return to wrestling.

The heart of the matter
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful and Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports recently took to Twitter, revealing an incredible detail on Punk's appearance at the event.
Fox said that this isn't the first time that CM Punk has appeared in an event since his exit from WWE. He added that Punk has been appearing as a masked character on indie shows for a long while now!
According to Fox, it has happened around 3 or 4 times since 2015, with some of the footage being filmed for Wrestling Road Diaries 3. Nothing came of it though, as Punk and Colt Cabana had their much-publicized fallout and the fans didn't get to see any of the footage.
What's next?
Although Punk's supposed return has resulted in the speculation mill spinning at a rapid rate, there's still no indication whether he is back for good. Here's hoping that the fans are not left hanging after this huge reveal, and Punk actually makes a return to the squared circle.
What are your thoughts on this update? Is Punk back for good? Will we see him sign a contract with one of the indie promotions, or even better - AEW?
