What's the story?

Dean Ambrose looked to have turned face last night on Monday Night Raw when he looked as though he was going to attack Seth Rollins but instead told him to "Slay The Beast."

In case you didn't know...

Dean Ambrose's heel turn has been a complete flop. The WWE Universe expected that the turn would allow him to turn back into Jon Moxley and then go on to take on Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, but this hasn't been the case.

Rollins moved on from Ambrose a long time ago and it appears that Ambrose could be walking away from the company in less than two months, so now WWE could have run out of things to do with him.

The heart of the matter

Dean Ambrose's segment on Monday Night Raw last night was reportedly supposed to last much longer, according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, the original plan was for Ambrose to go into some detail about why he wanted Rollins to defeat Lesnar.

“Originally he was supposed to explain like why he said ‘Slay the beast,’ but he didn’t. So he just said, ‘Slay the beast.'”
“You know it was one of those about it was the deal of whatever, we started together and blah blah the whole Shield thing and Roman Reigns and all that which makes all the sense in the world considering the turn and everything. I just gotta say that Dean Ambrose turn, in hindsight, the heel turn it sure was a flop, wasn’t it?” He said via Ringsidenews.

What's next?

The fact that Ambrose has now turned face or even hinted the fact that a face turn could be on the cards means that a Shield Reunion is being teased, something that WWE could make happen before his departure in April.
