WWE Rumors: RAW tag team to break up soon?
What’s the story?
Chad Gable and Bobby Roode have not been on the same page lately and rumours suggest that they are set to be broken up. The hint was dropped on the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw earlier this week when Roode was visibly unhappy with the loss against The Heavy Machinery.
In case you didn’t know…
Gable and Roode teamed up together in September last year and have been together ever since. The tag team have claimed the tag titles as well but their reign was short lived.
The duo won the titles after beating Authors of Pain (AOP) in a two-on-three match on RAW. Roode pinned AOP's manager, Drake Maverick on the December 10th episode of RAW to claim the titles but they were champions for just 2 months.
The Revival, after several failed attempts, finally claimed the titles on February 11th. Roode & Gable have been trying to get their hands on the title ever since but have failed. They are now out of the title picture and are set to be broken.
The heart of the matter
Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the former RAW tag-team champions will be broken up very soon and it might happen on RAW after WrestleMania. Many fans noted Roode's expression change after their loss to The Heavy Machinery on Raw earlier this week and it looks like the Glorious one will be the one turning his back on the tag-team.
What’s next?
Gable and Roode are not in the summer for the RAW tag titles and it's surprisingly Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins who are having a match for the title at WrestleMania. The former RAW tag champs are in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and we may see Roode eliminating Gable to start the feud.
