WWE Rumors: Roman Reigns says he will "take care" of Dean Ambrose's plans to leave WWE
What's the story?
Dean Ambrose is a former WWE Champion, but the company announced earlier this year that he had opted against signing a new deal with WWE when his contract expires in April.
In case you didn't know...
Dean Ambrose hasn't been booked well by WWE over the past few months and it was reported that the former Intercontinental Champion was left feeling quite emotional when he was presented with time on the road without Roman Reigns.
Reigns and Ambrose have been close friends ever since their debut back in 2012 and October was the first time that Ambrose was forced to look at life without Reigns in WWE and this is thought to be the main reason why he chose to leave.
The heart of the matter
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are close friends and The Lunatic Fringe's downward spiral on WWE TV only began back in October when he was forced to turn heel the same night that Reigns revealed that he was struggling with leukemia.
According to The Wrestling Observer, Reigns reportedly didn't know about Ambrose's contract plans until recently when he was asked for his thoughts on it by a fan. Reigns then reportedly responded, "I'll take care of that."
It is now thought that Ambrose could be set to re-sign with the company in the coming weeks if he's able to be part of storylines with his longtime friend.
What's next?
The Shield's reunion has already been teased which means that Fastlane could see Reigns, Ambrose, and Rollins sharing a ring once again, which would allow Ambrose to get his character back on track.
