What's the story?

As per the rumor roundup on Cagesideseats.com, it is being reported that there is nothing major to Dolph Ziggler missing RAW this week, and he was merely busy with obligations elsewhere.

In case you didn't know...

There were rumors floating around of Dolph Ziggler planning to leave WWE soon ever since he changed his name to Nic Nemeth (his real name) on his Twitter handle.

There was further speculation on Dolph Ziggler leaving WWE after he lost his steel cage match against Drew McIntyre on RAW last week and was left lying in the middle of the ring after a post-match beatdown at the hands of the Scottish Psychopath.

By not appearing on RAW this week, many believed that Dolph Ziggler has been written off RAW and we will not be seeing much of The Showoff from now on as he is bound to leave WWE soon.

The heart of the matter

Ziggler has posted on his Twitter that he will be commencing a comedy tour from January 27th, which could mean that he will not be an active part of RAW in the coming time.

However, the name change of his Twitter handle could solely be for the purpose of promoting his comedy tour.

What's next?

With his feud with Drew McIntyre seemingly finished, there doesn't seem anything much in store for the former World Heavyweight Champion as of now.

The Showoff has been a loyal WWE Superstar for well over 10 years, and while many believe 2019 will be the year Ziggler might break away, he might just stick around with the WWE for now.
