WWE Rumors : Rusev may be Brock Lesnar’s Next Opponent
A lot of questions have risen after Goldberg squashed Brock Lesnar in the main event of the 30th annual Survivor Series pay-per-view. The most significant being, what is next for the Beast Incarnate. That is, who will be the next in line to feud with Brock Lesnar.
As per recent reports from Inquisitr, the Bulgarian Brute Rusev will be the first opponent for the Beast after his angle with Goldberg culminates.
The outcome of the “Mega Match” didn’t fail to astonish the WWE Universe. In fact, most of the wrestlers associated with the company were shocked after witnessing that encounter. While several WWE Superstars congratulated Goldberg for the triumphant victory via social media, Rusev, chose to mock the Beast Incarnate instead.
He was joined by her wife and manager Lana in the process of teasing Lesnar:
Brock Lesnar....... hahahahahaaaaaaahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahha

Well @HeymanHustle guess your client @BrockLesnar underestimated GoldBerg oh well, maybe in 12 years you can try again #SurviorSeries @WWE

Inquisitr also indicated that if WWE proceeds to book Lesnar and Rusev for the upcoming months, then we can expect the former World Champion to be the victor in this rivalry. It is unlikely that Rusev will beat Lesnar because recent bookings have portrayed him as a ‘mid-card’ wrestler.
They highlighted that Lesnar would probably dominate Rusev and move on to feud with the likes of Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura or even Braun Strowman during the Wrestlemania season.
Whether WWE has long-term plans for a Rusev-Lesnar feud or not, the two are scheduled to face each other, during the December 3rd Live event in Mexico City. Hence, the tweets of the Bulgarian Brute may be nothing but buildup for their upcoming confrontation at the Live show.
The last time, Lesnar and Rusev battled each other was at a WWE Live event in San Jose (February 6th, 2016). Rusev lost that match after feeling the wrath of five German Suplexes and two F5s.
