What's the story?

Seth Rollins is currently struggling with a back injury which means that he has been sidelined ever since he took six F5s from Brock Lesnar last month, but he's reportedly still expected to be at Elimination Chamber this weekend.

In case you didn't know...

Rollins is the original Mr No Days Off; from The Shield's debut up until his 2015 injury, the former World Champion didn't miss an episode of Monday Night Raw in more than three years.

The former Shield member has only missed one episode of Raw in the last few weeks and was present on Raw this past week when Dean Ambrose seemingly turned face with an interesting speech about Rollins defeating Brock Lesnar, someone Ambrose himself was defeated by at The Show of Shows a few years ago.

The heart of the matter

Seth Rollins hasn't been able to wrestle for almost a month and isn't actually scheduled for a match at this weekend's Elimination Chamber event, but according to a report by PWinsider, Rollins is still scheduled to be part of the show.

It is unknown what Rollins will be doing as part of the show since The Architect is being rested by WWE so that his back injury has as much time to heal as possible ahead of WrestleMania, but it will be interesting to see if Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are able to have another interaction which will only further tease a future alliance.

What's next?

Rollins has a huge main event match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and WWE will be hoping that he is well-rested ahead of the show so that he can take The Beast to his limit and hopefully lift the Universal title.
