WWE Rumors: Spoilers on the next WWE Hall of Fame inductees
What's the story?
We're halfway through February, with WrestleMania just weeks away and WWE has yet to announce a single Hall of Fame nominee for the class of 2019 which is incredibly unusual. However, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com has learnt that an advert aired late last night suggesting that the company may finally be relenting on their policy regarding Chyna, albeit by inducting her as part of the group D-Generation-X.
In case you didn't know...
Last year's Hall of Fame was equally as shocking with WWE announcing that Jeff Jarrett was going to be inducted despite his tenured involvement in TNA and his recent troubles with alcohol.
Other inductees from the 2018 Hall of Fame class were Goldberg, Ivory, Hillbilly Jim, Mark Henry, The Dudley Boyz, Kid Rock and Jarrius 'JJ' Robertson.
Lord Alfred Hayes, Stan Stasiak, Sputnik Monroe, Rufus R. Jones, Jim Londos, Hiro Matsuda, El Santo, Dara Singh, Cora Combs and Boris Malenko were all inducted in the Hall of Fame's 'Legacy' section.
The heart of the matter
There's been a growing campaign to get Chyna into the WWE Hall of Fame, something that WWE have openly admitted they've shied away from due to the former WWE Women's Champion's involvement in adult videos. However, it seems WWE might have found a decent compromise
The above advert looks to be legitimate and suggests that DX will be the first official announcement for this year's Hall of Fame, with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, Chyna, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn all part of the group.
What's next?
Of course, nothing is official until the WWE themselves release an official statement to confirm or deny it, but it seems that people who want Chyna to get the recognition she deserves as a wrestler may finally be satisfied.
Not to mention that DX are one of the most influential groups in wrestling so their induction as a whole is most certainly a worthy one!
