WWE Rumors: Top WWE Superstar's health issues might rush huge main roster debut

Will he be usurped as the leader of The Club?

There is a lot of disquiet over the health of AJ Styles. The number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is reportedly nursing a few injuries that have dogged him awhile.

Styles was taken off three live event cards this past weekend and his schedule was lightened for this week, according to dailywrestlingnews.com. The Phenomenal One did not wrestle a match on tonight’s RAW, though he did take a steel chair shot from Roman Reigns.

The 38-year-old’s hampered ability to perform might force Vince McMahon to expedite Finn Balor’s main roster debut. The former NXT Champion’s long-awaited promotion has been reported time and again to be precipitate at any time during the weeks following Payback, but with Extreme Rules just days away and Reigns’ program with Styles rumored to extend to Money In The Bank, it has to be pondered where Creative will fit him in.

Styles is not expected to compete fully until Extreme Rules, beset with an ankle injury and a back injury as he is. Styles’ back injury is rumored to be much worse than he admits and has plagued him for a long time. He came clean last week that his ankle was giving him trouble as well.
