WWE Rumors: Triple H eager to sign The Young Bucks
If reports are to be believed, Triple H is looking to sign one of the hottest prospects in pro wrestling, The Young Bucks to an exclusive WWE contract. Young Bucks are arguably the best tag team in the world today, who have won the best tag team of the year accolade consecutively for the past two years.
Nick and Matt Jackson are currently signed with Ring Of Honor. The rumors of Triple H and the WWE being interested in the duo, have lead to Ring of Honor offering them a new contract, according to Inquisitr. The new multi-year deal would allow Nick and Matt to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) apart from fulfilling their ROH commitments.
The Young Bucks previously had a tryout with the WWE back in 2011. The brash and arrogant attitude of the brothers was said to be the reason WWE dropped the ball on the uberly talented prospects. Booker T and Rob Van Dam have echoed the sentiment that stemmed out of their experiences with the talented wrestlers.
One such incident between Booker T and the Young Bucks was reportedly the real reason why WWE didn't get them on board. Booker T revealed that unlike the young talents from back in the day who used to approach the veterans for advice, Matt and Nick didn’t even feel the need to introduce themselves to the WWE legend when they walked past him backstage.
Whatever may be the case, Young Bucks are the most popular wrestlers who are not in the WWE currently apart from Kenny Omega. The team have been a pivotal part of the critically acclaimed Bullet Club and are the only tag team to hold the ROH, NJPW, and PWG Tag team titles at the same time. To add to the legend of the team, they’ve achieved the feat twice.
The former leaders of the Bullet Club, Finn Balor, and AJ Styles are both currently main event fixtures in the WWE. According to Inquisitr, Kenny Omega might also jump ship to the biggest wrestling promotion in the world once his NJPW contract expires.
Reports also suggest that WWE are planning on raiding ROH talents and the Young Bucks, without a shadow of a doubt, would be a top priority. Will Young Bucks join their the renowned leaders of the Bullet Club in WWE shortly? Only time will tell.
