WWE Rumors: Undertaker tells Vince McMahon he never wants to wrestle again

Life imitating art?

There seems to be quite some fuss around Undertaker’s most recent “retirement” episode, more so than the ones following WrestleManias in previous years. The latest development in the saga will cause some worry to everyone involved in the WWE.

The Undertaker laying his gloves in the ring in Dallas didn't cause a furore because the same conjecture rocketed into the WWE Universe last year and then fizzled out. But dailywrestlingnews.com reports that the battle-worn Phenom has spelled it out for Vince McMahon that he doesn’t have any fight left in him.

It is common knowledge by know that Undertaker was overheard telling people at the WrestleMania 32 after-party that he had wrestled his last match. Successive reports stated that Vince McMahon was confident he could convince Taker to lace up his boots for the ‘Legends’ match against John Cena.

The CEO believes that the 51-year-old just needs some time to recharge his batteries and stay away from wrestling for now. The Undertaker has performed in twenty-four WrestleManias and Vince had big plans to send him off with a match against the face of the WWE until an injury to Cena scuppered those plans.

The Undertaker was apparently more sombre than ever when he told Vince his decision, and while the boss is sensitive to the fact, he still believes he can get the Deadman to bejewel WrestleMania 33.
