The heart of the matter
Before Wednesday's NXT tapings, Stephanie gave a pep talk to several NXT Superstars.
As per reports, she pushed the perks of being a part of the WWE, and added that talents have the freedom of being their own brands. Additionally, she promoted WWE's social media figures in a full-fledged presentation. The highlight was her mentioning the fact that Forbes had listed WrestleMania as being one of the biggest and most powerful brands on social media.
WOR also noted that the company is trying its best to convince Superstars that there's no career outside WWE. Dave Meltzer mentioned how talent used to believe this previously, but most of them aren't buying it at this point in time.
What's next?
WWE seems to be hell-bent on locking in Superstars and not letting them jump ship to AEW or somewhere else. This makes for a very intriguing scenario.
