WWE Rumors: WWE's plans revealed for Braun Strowman for upcoming weeks

To date, Strowman hasn’t really emphasized his “monster” booking in singles competition

As seen on the first post-draft episode of WWE's flagship show Monday Night Raw, Braun Strowman scored his first clean singles victory in WWE without the other members of the Wyatt Family at his side.

His match was nothing more than a squash match during which the former Wyatt family member defeated a local wrestler in very quick time.

It looks like this won't be the last time we will see Strowman manhandling his opponents because cagesideseats.com reports that the current plans for the Black Sheep are to continue winning squash matches for a while, to build him up as a monster.

Suash matches are the typical way for WWE to build someone who fits Vince McMahon’s archetype of a giant – like Ryback.

Despite the fact that he has been built as a destructive force ever since he debuted, Strowman has hardly competed in singles matches so it's widely believed that this decision will help in the development of his character.

Braun, who signed with WWE as an enhancement talent back in 2013, made his main roster debut back in 2015 by attacking the former Shield members Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
