The 30th edition of the Survivor Series to be held at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto promises to be a pay-per-view to remember for a number of reasons. Perhaps, the biggest one among them is the iconic clash between Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar, which is being billed as a rematch of their Wrestlemania XX encounter in 2004.

If the rumours around the match are to be believed, the WWE is planning to give Lesnar the victory in the match. The probable reason behind this decision is the fact, that a win for Goldberg after being out of action for more than a decade, may cause severe damage to the Beast Incarnate’s image as an unstoppable force.

The most likely scenario will be that ‘The Myth’ will push Brock Lesnar to the limit, before eventually succumbing to a loss. Post that; there are plans to give him a huge sendoff before the pay-per-view comes to an end.

This may be followed by his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame’s class of 2017, which may rule out any possibilities of a match at Wrestlemania 33 for Goldberg. However, there are certain concerns, which may prove to be a hindrance to plans of giving the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion a perfect farewell.

The most important one among these is how fans in Toronto, react to the mega battle between two wrestling icons. Things may turn sour if the crowd decides to boo Goldberg and the idea of giving him a sendoff may fail miserably.

Meanwhile, it is imperative for Brock Lesnar to win the match, considering the fact that Goldberg beat him in their previous encounter and the pre-match promos have seen Paul Heyman claim that this has always bothered Lesnar over the years.

Irrespective of who wins the match, though, the WWE Universe will be looking forward to the match at Survivor Series to be an unforgettable one.
