Rumours on Finn Balor and Samoa Joe's main roster debut
According to Dave Meltzer, it will take some time for NXT champion Finn Balor to make it to the WWE’s main roster.
Finn Balor coming to the main roster has been anticipated for a while and the appearance of AJ Styles has made it more interesting as a possible Bullet Club reunion in WWE is on the cards after Styles and Nakamura have signed a deal with WWE.
Despite the fact that Balor is more than developed enough to be a star on Raw and has a good fan base, WWE is currently planning on continuing to use him as the face of the NXT brand. Even if Balor loses his championship to Samoa Joe at NXT TakeOver at Dallas, he may remain a part of NXT at least till the end of 2016.
The result at Dallas will be crucial as Samoa Joe could potentially end up on the main roster within a couple of months if he loses to Balor. There were also talks of bringing Joe up immediately after WrestleMania, but if he wins the NXT Title, then his debut in the main roster will be delayed.
Initially, Joe was signed to remain on NXT indefinitely, but talent issues on the main roster have brought up the possibility of his joining the main roster.
