We’re talking of course, about Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. The latter, groomed to take over the mantle from John Cena and become the face of the company, is best described as a bitter pill to swallow and that’s exactly what the WWE is trying to make the Universe do.
Ambrose’s character will always be a fan favorite and might actually be another case study in the WWE becoming a victim of its own success. In this unadventurous period, to introduce someone who hearkens back to the WWE’s most successful era of all time is a volatile formula.
The masses have made no secret of their choice and now it seems just a matter of time before Dean Ambrose is given his long overdue place in the sun. According to inquisitr.com, this might follow soon after WrestleMania 32.
Dean’s program with Lesnar is assumed to be just a filler for the Show of Shows and a Lesnar - Wyatts collision is on everyone’s lips. The most likely scenario, speculatively, is a Reigns - Ambrose feud for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
It opens up the possibilities for the much-needed heel turn for Reigns, something that could prove the elixir of life for his character and with it, the WWE too.
