WWE Rumours: Is NXT TakeOver: The End really the end?
WWE’s developmental brand is the only thing that has been keeping the smarks happy. But, it looks like the paradise of smarks will soon see its desolation. WWE recently announced that the brand split will come into effect from July 19. This new announcement may well be the source for NXT’s discomfort.
With the brand split coming into play, WWE is essentially looking to revitalize the blue brand by providing it a separate roster. But, this may be easier said than done. In order to do that WWE will have to call-up a lot of NXT superstars. This might leave a huge void in the developmental brand.
There are also speculations that WWE is looking to fold its developmental brand. To add fuel to these rumours, NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn has been removed from the schedules of both Ticketmaster and WWE.com as of May 30. Though Barclays Center still lists the event in their schedules, they might soon remove it to. This has caused a huge speculation that NXT TakeOver:The End is really the end of the developmental brand or atleast for the special shows from it.
If one notes Triple H tweeted this cryptic tweet on May 26th
But fans might take heart in the fact that Triple H has also tweeted there will be live events atleast till July 16. Triple H tweeted the following Yesterday.
If one takes note, then he might wonder why there are no live events advertised after July 19. It may be that it is too early to advertise or it may that there will be no live events for NXT after the brand split. Only time can tell us the fate of the developmental brand.
