WWE Rumours: Update on Bray Wyatt's injury
WWE has had a torrid time with injuries since last year. The latest casualty is none other than the ‘new face of fear’ Bray Wyatt. Bray Wyatt has not had anything substantial to do in the last couple of months and it looks like that will be the case for the coming weeks.
WWE looked to have booked a solid run for the Wyatt Family starting at Payback, but all this seems to have gone down the drain with the leader of the Wyatt Family suffering an injury. Bray Wyatt suffered an injury during his match with Roman Reigns during the European Tour.
Wyatt was seen holding his calf and limping in pain. The refree called the match off immediately. Ever since then, no one has seen or heard from the patriach of the Wyatt Family. Although WWE confirmed the injury, there was no time frame or the extent of severity of his injury revealed.
It is now been reported that Bray Wyatt may be out for a month due to the injury. It looks like it will take another four to six weeks for Wyatt to recover from the injury. Wyatt was sent home from the European Tour and is not likely to take part in WWE Payback.
After WrestleMania, the Wyatt Family looked to have started a feud with the League of Nations which would have been a perfect start to assert their dominance over the WWE, but as fate would have it, Bray Wyatt got injured at an unfortunate time. Still, will WWE capitalize on this and give a strong booking for Wyatt Family when they return is left to see.
