Kevin Kross(L) along with Darren Young on Raw

There have been recent rumours that WWE is looking to sign yet another Indy star. Kevin Kross, who works for Future Stars of Wrestling and Global Force Wrestling, is rumoured to be in talks with WWE regarding a developmental contract.

Kevin Kross came under WWE’s radar when he recently defeated Scorpio Sky in a Lucha Underground dark match. Kevin Kross has the WWE’s preferred build. He stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and is around 265 pounds. He is also nicknamed as “The Tollman” and “The Herald of Doomsday.”

Kevin Kross is not new to WWE however. In 2015, Kevin Kross teamed up with Darren Young to compete in a match on Raw. Kevin Kross is also an one time FSW Heavyweight Champion and is known for his devastating power among the independent circuit.

With the recent injection of talent from NXT to main roster and the rumoured brand split coming up, WWE is reportedly looking for talents to boost NXT’s current meager talent pool. This has led WWE to scour a lot Indy talents to sign to the developmental brand and replenish the talent pool. Sources say that if everything goes well Kevin Kross may soon be seen in WWE television.
