WWE's Supernatural power to use Finn Balor to control The Judgment Day? Exploring an unexpected possibility

Finn Balor led a coup d'etat a few weeks ago at SummerSlam, as he expelled both Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley from The Judgment Day. The reason behind this decision was simple, he wanted the faction to be leaderless once again. But, what if that is not the whole truth? What if a supernatural power in WWE is using Balor to take control of The Judgment Day?

Now, while many would assume this supernatural power to be The Undertaker or Uncle Howdy and The Wyatt Sicks, it is actually something much closer to home for Finn Balor. After all, he is no stranger to the macabre and has called upon his inner demons before to help him out of tight spots. With that in mind, The Demon, Balor's alter ego, may be the supernatural entity controlling him.

The obvious supernatural connection between the words "demon" and "judgment day" aside, it has been a while since we've seen The Demon persona in WWE. The last time we Demon Finn Balor was on Night 2 of WrestleMania 39 when he took on Edge in a Hell in a Cell match. But, perhaps he may return soon and could be revealed as the true leader controlling The Judgment Day via a medium, in this case, Balor.

Throwing The Demon into the mix could make for some interesting future storylines. But, as things stand, this is nothing more than speculation. There is no telling if WWE has any plans to bring back the character.

Finn Balor could bring back The Demon against Damian Priest

While there are no official plans to bring back The Demon, there is a small possibility that we might see him return very soon. After all, Finn Balor is set to face his toughest challenge yet at WWE Bad Blood. That's right, after weeks of ducking and running away, Balor will finally take on Damian Priest.

Safe to say that it won't be an easy battle for Balor. Given the obvious size difference, and comparing their two records off late, Priest should be the heavy favorite. But, all that could change if The Demon returns, especially considering he tends to come out when Balor is faced with stiff competition.

But, as mentioned earlier, this is all a matter of speculation. One thing is for sure though, there will be no love lost when Balor and Priest finally meet in the ring. To quote Sheamus, it is sure to be a "banger" of a match.
