WWE's ultimate babyface to finally turn heel? 3 superstars who must turn heel ASAP

WWE has always been about the wrestlers and storytelling, and to tell a good story, you need both babyfaces and heels. Good versus bad is what drives the business, and sometimes, the most entertaining moment is when the good guy goes over to the dark side. A classic twist across all entertainment platforms.

Whether it's Anakin Skywalker joining the Sith, or more recently Iron Man becoming Dr. Doom, it's a tale as old as time. As one would expect, WWE is no stranger to it. Over the years, several top faces have turned heel, leaving fans shocked, angered, but most of all, excited.

In today's WWE, there are a boatload of faces and heels. And, while we have seen and will likely see a couple of turns this calendar year, there are some faces that need to turn heel ASAP. So, without further ado, here are three stars who need to do just that.

#3. Kevin Owens should have turned heel weeks ago

Kicking things off with the man on the cover only makes sense. Kevin Owens, whether you like it or not, should have turned heel weeks ago, at Bash in Berlin. The Prizefighter looked all set for the same, especially given his antics leading up to his title match with Cody Rhodes. However, WWE decided to go another route and gave their match which kicked off the PLE, a respectful ending.

Now, KO is back to square one. He is still a literal badass and can destroy any superstar on his day, just look at what he did to Austin Theory and Grayson Waller last week on SmackDown.

But, there is no denying that heel Owens is a different beast. He may not have turned heel on Rhodes in Germany, but one cannot help but feel that a change in personality is just around the corner for the 40-year-old.

#2. Randy Orton has always been a superstar no one can trust

Next on the list, is someone that Kevin Owens has worked closely with this year, The Viper, Randy Orton. With a stellar 20-year career behind him, Orton has played many roles in his WWE career. Whether he is a face, a heel, or even an anti-hero, the fans just love to love him. Right now, given the list we're conjuring up, it should come as no surprise that he is a face, and a face, who is good friends with Cody Rhodes.

Keeping that in mind, a heel turn should certainly be on the cards for Orton. It has definitely been teased, what with him stealing glances at the Undisputed WWE Championship when he thinks no one is looking. So, why not pull the trigger? Why not have him turn on The American Nightmare and challenge him if he retains at Bad Blood? It would definitely be a much-needed and welcome surprise.

#1. Bianca Belair breaks bad against her WWE Women's Tag Team Champion partner

On rare occasions, we see superstars who have stuck to one character for the entirety of their careers. When it comes to babyfaces, the poster boy is John Cena, and in the Women's Division, the poster girl is Bianca Belair. The EST has been a babyface her whole main roster run, and an inspiration to many in the WWE Universe. However, perhaps it is time for a change.

As of this writing, Belair is one-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Jade Cargill. For most of the year, challenging, winning, and losing said titles are all they have been doing. This is far from what the fans want, as many still hold out hope for an epic feud between the two powerhouses of the division.

But, in order to do that, one of them has to turn on the other, so why not Belair? It would certainly leave everyone shocked, but what's more, it will give her the opportunity to explore a new and different character.
