WWE News: Sasha Banks to return to TV programming soon?

‘Is The Boss’ ready to become the Women’s Champion this time?

If you are a fan of 'The Boss' Shasha Banks then we have a good news for you. Sunherald recently got the chance to catch up with Banks when she was promoting the upcoming Smackdown tapings at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.

During the interview, she talked about her recent concussion saying that it was a freak accident and she is ready to compete again.

She said, “the cool part about WWE is you never know what’s going to happen. It was a freak accident with the referee and I’m better and I’ve received the all-clear and I’m ready to go.”

After this comment, we can hope to see her return on WWE television as soon as this week’s edition of Smackdown. The 'boss' has already made her in-ring return when she wrestled a match against Summer Rae for WWE Superstars tapings.

Before her injury, Banks was supposed to be involved in a long-term feud with the current Diva's champion Charlotte for the Women's championship.

Although how this injury affects the planned storyline is yet to be seen, as Charlotte and Dana Brooke have been booked against Becky Lynch and Natalya in tag team competition at Money in the Bank, it was announced today.

Shasha suffered a concussion during a WWE Live Event at May 15th last month where she was a part of a 6-women diva's match. She was reportedly kneed in the head by a referee.
