WWE signs American Wolves as interns till March

WWE has snatched indie darlings Davey Richards and Eddie Richards (The American Wolves) to work for the company as interns after the duo impressed in their NXT tryout.

The American Wolves made their television debut for NXT and was beaten in a squash match by veteran NXT tag team The Ascension. But according to the rumors, the squash match was booked in order to see how the wrestlers would react to it.

It is believed that Triple H is against the signing as he feels that the company already has many indie booking and he wants bigger-than-life characters. However, many of the backstage workers including William Regal have been pushing for the WWE to give the tag team a chance.

The intern deal will run through March next year and the wrestlers will join the company after they finish their Indie bookings which includes a Ring Of Honor pay-per-view.
