Slater gets chopped, SmackDown ratings fall, WWE EVP Kevin Dunn unloads

AGAIN?!

- So Heath Slater’s hasn’t had the fairest luck in the ring. Whether it’s getting beat down by a slew of WWE legends, dumped as a tag team partner or getting RKO’d through a table backstage, you have to admit, the man is living proof that jinxes and curses aren’t hogwash. And it seems that his misfortune follows him off-camera too. Here is a video of him having to do pull-ups, while getting chopped at the same time by Jimmy Uso for losing in a WWE2K15 game on Gamer Gauntlet. The video is from Xavier Woods’ WWE-endorsed Youtube channel – “UpUpDownDown”, courtesy of DailyWrestlingNews.

- Nielsen’s Twitter TV Ratings for Thursday, the 6th of August, showed that WWE SmackDown ranked #4 amongst non-sporting events, trailing behind The GOP Debate, The Daily Show and Big Brother. SmackDown had a total of 922,000 Twitter accounts commenting on the show, which represents its unique audience. This is a decrease from last week’s audience of 1.048 million. In terms of total impressions, which is a measure of how many times the show was tweeted about, SmackDown recorded 2.594 million, again, down from last week’s 2.693 million. The drop, though significant, can possibly be attributed to the Republican Presidential Debate.
