WWE SmackDown: 5 biggest questions from the Superstar Shake-up episode (April 16, 2019)

Things went a little out of hand on Tuesday

The second day of the Superstar Shake-up started on a high as The Extraordinary Man showed up on the blue brand to do some Extraordinary Things and defeated Ali in a non-title match to announce his arrival.

While things surely slowed down from there on, we saw some major Raw superstars move to the blue brand, which clearly shows how much WWE will be focusing on SmackDown in the coming months before the FOX deal takes place.

With Becky holding both the women’s championships, The IIconics holding the Women’s Tag Team titles, the United States and Intercontinental Championships, and the SmackDown Tag Team Championships on the brand along with the WWE Championship, SmackDown is now loaded with gold.

However, WWE left us with a few obvious questions at the end of the night which left us a bit confused.

Check out the 5 biggest questions from the second and final day of the Superstar Shake-up, and share your favorite moment from the show in the comments section!

#5 Why have some NXT call-ups been left unassigned?

One of the main things we were hoping was to see all of the NXT call-ups find a home during the Superstar Shake-up.

Superstars like Aleister Black, Ricochet, and EC3 managed to cement their place on Raw, while a few new faces were also called up to the main roster.

However, Nikki Cross’ name was nowhere to be seen on either brand, and this means she is still left unassigned. The superstar was one of the best things about the NXT women’s roster but now has become nothing but a Live Event worker for the main roster.

Was Nikki Cross overlooked deliberately and will she play an important role in the weeks to come? Or has WWE given up on the superstar already and will be sending her back to NXT in the coming days? Hopefully, we will find the answers very soon.
