WWE SmackDown Live: 3 Signs that indicate towards Kofi Kingston losing the WWE Title to Randy Orton at Clash of Champions

This week’s RAW and SmackDown Live have been concluded and if one is to make a list out of the biggest things to look forward to, then the feud between Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Title won’t be on the top three for many of them.

It is a shame that it had to come to this point as this storyline had a lot of promise. Kingston began feuding with the Apex Predator after overcoming the likes of Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, and Samoa Joe.

Orton is already a legend in the business and the two actually have a history between each other. The platform was there for this to be an epic battle but for some reason, it has fallen flat.

In the last episode of SmackDown Live, Randy Orton paired up with The Revival (again) to beat down Kofi Kingston (again). There is basically nothing creative here as the two are just going physical against each other every other week without any real story.

The latest episode of SmackDown Live was perhaps the best indication of Kofi Kingston losing his title to Randy Orton at Clash of Champions – and here are 3 signs that suggest that…

#3 KofiMania is over

KofiMania is over

Kofi Kingston wasn’t supposed to be the WWE Champion. However, the fans’ KofiMania movement made it possible for the New Day member to have the belt around his waist.

He got himself over after some tremendous performances in gauntlet matches preceding WrestleMania 35 and the fans filled the arenas with Kofi chants, something that forced the company to put him in a match against Daniel Bryan at the Show of Shows and win the title from him.

While he still does get cheers, the adulation is nowhere near to what it was back then and it was perhaps at its lowest point in the last episode of SmackDown Live.
