WWE SmackDown results – 19th July, 2013

Match 1: Dolph Ziggler vs. Jack Swagger

Quick roll up by Ziggler as he went for his sunset flip on Swagger. Swagger replies with a patriot lock, Ziggler counters and hits the ZigZag for the three count.

Match 2: Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett

Bryan unloads with a series of kicks but gets caught by Barrett, who lands a kick of his own. Barrett looking for the Winds of Change and Bryan counters into the Yes Lock for the tap out.

Match 3: Intercontinental Championship – Curtis Axel vs. Chris Jericho

Axel misses with the dropkick, Jericho hits the Lionsault. Axel then goes for the PerfectPlex but Jericho counters into The Walls of Jericho. Heyman climbs on the apron for the distraction. Crossbody to the outside onto Axel. Axel hits the Hangman’s facebuster for the three count.

The winner of the match: Curtis Axel

Match 4: RVD vs. Darren Young

High kick by RVD and a crossbody from the second rope. Clothesline by RVD is countered with Clothesline by Young. RVD hits the Rolling Thunder onto Young. RVD kicks Young, and then kicks O’Neil and hits the Five Star Frog Splash for the three count.

The winner of the match: Rob Van Dam

Match 5: Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio

Orton begins with 10 punches. Del Rio then counters the DDT and hits an enziguri to the back of the head sending Orton to the floor. Del Rio mocks Orton looking for an RKO but Orton counters with the powerslam. Del Rio counters the RKO and hits the backstabber. Del Rio with the cross armbreaker but Orton rolls through and hits the RKO for the three count.
