WWE SmackDown Results 4th October 2016, Full Show Match Updates and Video Highlights
WWE SmackDown Live! came to us live from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California. The episode was a build up to WWE No Mercy – which takes place on Sunday, 9th October – and a few new matches were expected to be announced for the PPV.
Here are the complete WWE SmackDown Results for 4th October 2016:
#1 Bray Wyatt vs. Kane
Bray Wyatt is scheduled to face Randy Orton at No Mercy but tonight he came head-to-head against The Big Red Machine to kick-off SmackDown. The Eater of Worlds was the first to the ring followed by Kane.
Wyatt started an outright assault on Kane and got the momentum early on during the match. However, Kane fought back after he evaded a Senton from Bray and reversed it into a Jumping DDT.
Kane tried to take advantage of the situation by nailing a Choke Slam but was slammed instead by The Eater of Worlds, who followed it with a Senton.
Bray then lines up for Sister Abigail by going upside down on one corner when an upside down Randy Orton appears on the Titantron. The never-ending hide and seek between the two continues as The Viper promises to set Bray’s world ‘right side up’ on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Kane tried to take advantage of the situation by hitting a ChokeSlam but Bray evaded it and left the ring, only to be counted out by the referee. He then went backstage in search of Orton.
Result: Kane beats Bray Wyatt via count out
