WWE SmackDown Results: Legendary 7-time champ's return confirmed; Kevin Owens heel turn?
Randy Orton kicked off WWE SmackDown and said that he missed being out in the ring on Friday nights. He said there were few people he could trust, and Cody Rhodes was one of them.
The Viper had known him a long time, which is why it was hard to see him team up with Roman Reigns for the match at Bad Blood.
Cody Rhodes came out and said that he would rather be a fool than a coward and reminded us that Roman Reigns gave him his word. Cody added that the new Bloodline has become quite the problem in WWE and that Randy should understand where he was coming from.
Kevin Owens came out, but before he could speak, he was interrupted by Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline. Sikoa thanked Orton, Rhodes, and Owens for gathering in the ring and saving him the trouble of hunting them down. Solo reminded them that they had been trying to take Bloodline out for months, but Orton and Owens had failed every time.
Owens told Solo to shut up and challenged them to a tag match tonight before Cody joined in as well, trying to make it a six-man tag match. Owens shut him down and said that it had to be him and Orton since Cody would have his chance to face the Bloodline at Bad Blood.
Nia Jax was backstage and blamed Tiffany Stratton for last week's loss. Stratton took the blame before Nia added that if she loses the title, it'll end very badly for Tiffany.
