WWE SmackDown Results: Police escort Cody Rhodes and friends out of the arena after vicious brawl; Paul Heyman destroyed!
WWE SmackDown kicked off from Madison Square Gardens, and we saw The Bloodline show up in an SUV, but Jacob Fatu was not with them. Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa made their way to the entrance ramp when Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton attacked them, and a huge brawl broke out.
WWE SmackDown Results (June 28, 2024):
- Tiffany Stratton def. Candice LeRae & Jade Cargill
- LA Knight def. Santos Escobar & Logan Paul
- Naomi def. Blair Davenport & Indi Hartwell
Rhodes, Owens, and Orton beat the Bloodline all the way to ringside, and Randy dropped Tama on the apron before KO put Loa through a table at ringside with a massive senton.
Solo also received a beatdown from Cody, and Nick Aldis came out with security to stop the fight. The Bloodline used the distraction to swiftly run away backstage, but Cody, Owens, and Randy refused to leave the ring after Aldis told them to.
Orton RKO'd a security guy as another big brawl broke out. Two more security guys took a stunner and a Cross Rhodes before Aldis walked backstage as Cody and the others said they wanted to settle their differences with the Bloodline then and there.
Nick Aldis came back with the police before the trio finally agreed to leave the ring and settle their differences later.
Backstage on SmackDown, Cody and the gang were escorted to a car and sent home for the night by Aldis.
WWE SmackDown Results: Jade Cargill vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Candice LeRae - Money in the Bank Qualifier match
LeRae and Stratton teamed up against Cargill immediately but were overpowered and tossed outside early. Nia Jax showed up at ringside, possibly to defend her new friend, Tiffany, before Bianca Belair followed her to ensure she didn't interfere.
Nia and Bianca got into it at ringside and distracted the ref when Indi Hartwell came in from the back and sent Cargill into the ring post. In the ring, Candice got a near fall on Stratton before Tiffany took her out and hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the win.
Result: Tiffany Stratton def. Candice LeRae & Jade Cargill
Grade: B
Backstage, Pretty Deadly said that they were making their comeback tonight, and The Street Profits were also looking to get revenge on the Bloodline.
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis said that he had promised to let Bloodline have its Acknowledgment Ceremony, but the Profits decided to face Pretty Deadly instead.
Paul Heyman told Solo Sikoa that Cody, Randy, and Kevin were ejected from the building. Solo told Heyman that he had taken his advice, and since the Wiseman had said that Jacob Fatu was too dangerous, Sikoa told the newest Bloodline member to stay home for the night.
WWE SmackDown Results: Santos Escobar vs. Logan Paul vs. LA Knight - Money in the Bank Qualifier match
Logan Paul brought basketball player Tyrese Haliburton from Indiana Pacers to troll the New York crowd and to accompany him at ringside for the match. Knight started off strong but Paul and Escobar teamed up against Knight before Logan turned on Santos and sent him outside and tried to pin LA.
Santos returned, dodged a top rope move from Knight, and hit him with a poison rana. Knight came back with a big suplex on Santos from the top rope before Logan hit a Swanton Bomb on LA for another near fall.
Logan's friend at ringside took out the brass knuckles before Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks, who was also in attendance, interfered and stopped him from handing it to Paul.
Knight got the BFT on Santos, but Logan broke up the pin and tried to roll him up. Knight reversed the pin and rolled Paul up himself before getting the win on SmackDown.
Result: LA Knight def. Santos Escobar & Logan Paul
After the match, Logan and Haliburton were about to attack LA Knight with the brass knuckles, but Brunson came in with a steel chair and stopped them.

Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews were backstage discussing who would win the Money in the Bank briefcase this year before Carmelo Hayes came in and said that he was looking to win it. Corbin and Crews weren't impressed, so Melo stormed off, saying he was the one to bet on.
We saw a short video tribute to Roman Reigns' father, the late Sika Anoa'i, who passed away earlier this week.
WWE SmackDown Results: Blair Davenport vs. Indi Hartwell vs. Naomi - Money in the Bank Qualifier match
Davenport and Hartwell teamed up against Naomi before Blair got double stomps on both opponents outside the ring. Back in the ring, Naomi was in control but took a superkick and a Falcon Arrow from Davenport for a near fall.
Outside the ring, Davenport was sent into the ring steps before Jade Cargill showed up and attacked Indi at ringside. Cargill sent Hartwell into the ringpost before tossing her back into the ring.
Naomi used the distraction to get a big kick and a slam on Indi and picked up the win.
Result: Naomi def. Blair Davenport & Indi Hartwell

Backstage, DIY was still trying to convince Austin Theory that Grayson Waller didn't care about him before the latter attacked and took them out.
The Bloodline was out next on SmackDown for the Acknowledgment Ceremony, and Solo stopped Heyman from doing his little intro before introducing Jacob Fatu as his enforcer.
Clearly, Solo had been lying to Heyman earlier, and he gave the Wiseman an ice-cold stare as Fatu headed to the ring.
Solo asked the Bloodline to acknowledge him individually, and they did so before it was Paul Heyman's turn. Solo brought out a red Ula Fala like the one Roman used to wear and asked Paul to acknowledge him as the Tribal Chief, but Heyman said that Sikoa was not his Tribal Chief!
Solo hit Paul with the Samoan Spike before calling for his enforcer, who hit him with a big dive. The Tongans dragged Paul out to the announce desk and powerbombed him through it before Fatu put the Ula Fala around Solo's neck.
The Bloodline posed over Paul as SmackDown went off the air.
