WWE SmackDown Results: The Bloodline appoints new Right-Hand Man; Cody Rhodes challenged to 'I QUIT' match

WWE SmackDown Results (June 7, 2024):

  • Kevin Owens & The Street Profits def. The Bloodline via DQ

The Bloodline kicked off WWE SmackDown, and Paul Heyman said that Solo Sikoa will be the Head of the Table until Roman Reigns returns.

The crowd chanted 'We want Roman' before Heyman announced that Tama Tonga was the new Right-Hand Man and that Tonga Loa was a full-time member of the Bloodline.

Solo got on the mic to remind Paul that he forgot something and asked Heyman to thank the duo for saving him from Kevin Owens last week. KO showed up and ran to the ring, attacking the Bloodline alone.

The trio quickly overpowered Owens, and it turned into a beatdown before The Street Profits showed up to even the odds.

Owens got a chair and took the Bloodline out one by one with it before Solo and his cousins fled the ring.


Backstage, Solo told Heyman to set up a six-man tag match between the Bloodline and KO & The Street Profits. If Paul failed to do so, Solo threatened to beat him up.


WWE SmackDown Results: Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair vs. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn showed up at ringside, as did Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. Candice and Bianca started things, and the tag champ got a big vertical suplex and a standing moonsault for an early nearfall.

Hartwell helped LeRae hit an assisted splash before we headed for a break. Back on SmackDown, Belair was sent outside, and Indi was sent into the corner before Jade and Bianca got a double-team move for the win on SmackDown.

Result: Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair def. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell

Fyre, Dawn, Stark, and Baszler attacked the tag champs after the match, sending them into the steel steps and barricades before turning on each other.

The champs came back and took advantage of the brawl, hitting the KOD and Jaded on Fyre and Dawn.

Grade: B+


Cody Rhodes was waiting for AJ Styles in the parking lot, and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis tried to tell him to back off. Rhodes said this was between him and Styles, and Aldis should stay out of it.


Apollo Crews was backstage when Legado Del Fantasma attacked and knocked him out.

LA Knight asked if Logan Paul was at the show tonight. Aldis told him no before Carmelo Hayes showed up. LA and Melo set up a match together as SmackDown continued.


WWE SmackDown Results: Grayson Waller vs. Johnny Gargano

Gargano was in control early on but took a backbreaker before blocking the rolling cutter. Waller dodged a dive to the outside before Gargano hit Sliced Bread on the floor, hurting himself in the process.

Gargano hit a dive to the outside but hit Theory instead. The distraction allowed Waller to send Gargano into the apron before hitting the unprettier in the ring for the win.

Result: Grayson Waller def. Johnny Gargano

Theory was still down at ringside when the match ended, and instead of helping him up, Waller celebrated his win.

Grade: B


Nick Aldis brought some security with him to make sure Cody and AJ didn't get into a fight backstage. AJ and The O.C. showed up and the security managed to keep Cody away before the latter walked off to the ring. Cody got on the mic and called AJ out.

AJ showed up with The O.C., and the security showed up with Aldis to keep things civil. Styles said he wanted an "I Quit" match against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Clash at the Castle, and Aldis took a moment to agree to it.

A brawl broke out, and the security tried their best to keep Cody and AJ apart, but Styles hit a cheap shot on the champ before running off.


Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were backstage and said they would be facing Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn and Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark in a triple threat tag title match at Clash at the Castle.


WWE SmackDown Results: LA Knight vs. Carmelo Hayes

LA Knight tossed Melo into the announce desk before getting a big clothesline and a slam in the ring. Hayes got a near fall off a big move before Knight got some chops in but missed the elbow drop.

The two had a slugfest in the ring before Melo reversed the BFT. Melo went for a pin, but Knight reversed it and won.

Result: LA Knight def. Carmelo Hayes

Knight got on the mic after the match and said that if Logan Paul didn't return to SmackDown, he would bring SmackDown to Paul. He will probably attack Paul at the Tetris Championship in Los Angeles, where Logan was set to appear.

Grade: C


Tiffany Stratton told Nia Jax backstage that she would watch her back before Michin came in. Jax and Michin got into an argument, and the latter splashed a drink on her face.

Jax took her out but fell down twice in the process, thanks to the spilled drink. Security came in to separate them on SmackDown.


Bayley was out next and was interrupted by Piper Niven and Chelsea Green. Green wanted Bayley to give Piper a title shot, and the champ said she could have just asked her nicely.

Bayley said she put her title on the line against Piper at Clash at the Castle. Piper got on the mic and talked about how she was a champion before appearing in WWE.

Niven said she would be the new WWE Women's Champion at Clash at the Castle before staring the champ down in the ring.


Logan Paul was in a promo from his home and called LA Knight a stupid hillbilly before telling him to go back to the midcard.


After an argument backstage, Naomi and Chelsea Green set up a match for next week.


WWE SmackDown Results: Kevin Owens & The Street Profits vs. The Bloodline

Dawkins made some big moves on Tama early on, but Ford came in and resumed the beatdown. Ford sent Tama outside, but Solo dragged Ford outside and sent him into the ringpost.

Solo was dominating in the ring before Owens tagged him and took him out with a cannonball and a Swanton Bomb. Owens dodged the Samoan Spike and hit the Stunner before the Tongans dragged him outside, and Ford took everyone out with a top-rope dive.

Solo attacked Ford with a steel chair before the ref called the match a DQ.

Result: Kevin Owens & The Street Profits def. The Bloodline via DQ

Ford took a big spear in the ring from Solo before KO received a beatdown from the Bloodline.

Solo cleared the announce desk before hitting Owens with an assisted Powerbomb through it as SmackDown went off the air.

Grade: B+
