Analysis
Ambrose and Rollins kicked off Smackdown going back and forth on the mic to further their amazing feud. Their ladder match at the upcoming MITB event has the potential to be a classic and a possible match of the year contender. It’s likely that Rollins will retain this Sunday however you never know.
The feud between Rusev and Lana/Ziggler continued this week with a pre-taped interview. Hopefully, this means Rusev won’t miss too much action. Ziggler's chances of winning money in the bank are probably fairly slim especially since WWE are simply continuing to push the Lana/Rusev tension instead of focusing on him.
Paige gained a pinfall victory as she builds momentum for her upcoming title match. Nikki Bella has held the title far too long and one can only fear that the only reason why she is still champ is potentially because WWE wants her to break AJ’s record reign.
Hopefully, though that’s not the case as she definitely needs to drop the title. Naomi would have been a great new champion but apparently now her push has stopped for some reason. Naomi is an incredible athlete and a very deserving champion, hopefully she doesn’t get lost in the shuffle.
6 of the 7 Money in the Bank contenders were all involved in a 6 man tag team main event. Naturally, the babyfaces picked up the win. Reigns still seems the most likely candidate to win so hopefully WWE consider having a swerve. Personally I will be rooting for Kofi Kingston who I actually believe has a considerable chance of winning and of course Dolph Ziggler.
Please feel free to comment below who you believe will win the Money in the Bank ladder match.
