WWE SmackDown spoilers for 8/20/2015
This week’s SmackDown rolled out from Green Bay and the spoilers from the tapings are in. Below are the results.
- This week’s SmackDown started off with the usual pyro and the first match on the card was Ryback vs Big Show. Chaos ensued as both the competitors fought on the floor. Ryback clotheslined Big Show into the barricade close to the timekeeper’s area. The match ended in a double- count out.
- Next up was a six-man tag team match between The New Day and Los Matadores and El Torito. New Day picked up the win after Big E hit a running splash on El Torito and Woods tagged in for the pin.
- Dolph Ziggler and Lana walked to the ring next and cut a promo. Ziggler spoke about how he missed Lana. The first thing she said to him when he came back was to ‘crush those bas***ds’. They started making out in the ring soon after and were interrupted when the Bulgarian flag with Rusev’s face dropped down. Rusev made his way out to the ring and promised to crush Ziggler like a jig-saw puzzle.Ziggler responded by saying that he would kick Rusev’s teeth in and also steal his real girlfriend after which Ziggler's music hits and the promo ended.
- Neville defeated Bo Dallas with Red Arrow in a very quick squash match. Stardust and King Barrett appeared on the big screen and cut promos about how they will beat Neville and Stephen Amell at SummerSlam.
- Alicia Fox cut a promo with The Bella Twins about Nikki Bella’s Divas Title reign. Brie Bella rips the Divas Revolution. Team BAD interrupted with Naomi and Sasha Banks cutting promos about how they will win at SummerSlam. Sasha says Brie has been riding Daniel Bryan’s success. Becky Lynch comes out with Charlotte and interrupts Sasha, saying her team will win at SummerSlam. We’ve got a Triple Threat match next.
- Brie came out on top against Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat when she rolled up Becky.
- Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Cesaro cut promos backstage about theirSummerSlam matches.
- Orton, Ambrose, Reigns and Cesaro defeated Sheamus, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Kevin Owens in the main event. The match started with Sheamus and Orton. The heels controlled most of the match with a lot of quick tags. Ambrose got a hot tag and hit Dirty Deeds on Harper for the pin. The babyfaces celebrated to end SmackDown.
