WWE Smackdown spoilers

Friday night Smackdown was taped from Ottawa, Canada this Tuesday night as WWE wrapped up its Canadian tour schedule.

As usual, we have the results unfolded for those who want to know what went down at the show beforehand.

Here are the spoilers from the July 11 episode.

  • Lilian Garcia kicked off the night as she came out singing the Canadian national anthem.
  • Lana and Alexander Rusev came out in the opening segment to cut an anti-Canadian promo. Roman Reigns interrupts and says he won’t be crushed. Things get heated up as Rusev and Reigns stare at each other, but the referees manage to hold them off.
  • AJ Lee defeats Cameron in a Divas match. Cameron tried to walk way, but Naomi tossed her into the ring and AJ used the Shining Wizard move to pick up a win.
  • Orton is interviewed backstage by Renee Young. The Viper says that it doesn’t matter what Reigns thinks and he cares only what’s best for business. He concludes the segment by stating that Chris Jericho will be introduced to the Legend Killer tonight.
  • Adam Rose vs Fandango is up next. Rose wins the match via count out. Fandango was busy trying to split up Layla and Summer Rae who were fighting at ringside.
  • The Usos are up against Heath Slater and Titus O’Neil in a non-title Tag-team match. It was an easy win for the Samoans.
  • Chris Jericho makes his way into the ring next as he goes one-on-one against Randy Orton. Bray Wyatt appears on the giant screen and initiates a “got the whole world in his hands” chants. Randy Orton comes out after that and the match commences. An exciting bout between the two as Jericho hits the Lionsault in the end to pin Orton. But the Wyatt Family entrance graphic flashes before the three-count which leads to a distraction as Orton hits the RKO to win the match.
  • Layla and Summer Rae face off with Fandango as the special guest referee. After both the Divas kiss Fandango, they team up and attack him. With disbelief written all over his face, Fandango stares at the girls from the stage as the dance together inside the ring.
  • Goldust defeats Ryback with Stardust and Curtis Axel at ringside.
  • Bo-Dallas is involved in a Handicap match against El Torito and Diego. Bo pins Diego to win the match and then attacks Torito with a running Bo-Dog.
  • The main event match was between Reigns and Rusev. Rusev was dominant for most portions, but Reigns had him set up for the Spear after hitting the Superman Punch. But Orton interfered and attacked Reigns from behind which caused a disqualification. Reigns gets knocked out with a Superkick from Rusev, but Lana prevents any further damage as they walk away form the ring. Orton hits the RKO after he gets up and goes for the Spear. But Reigns Spears him first as the show closes with him standing tall.
