WWE star disappears from Twitter, Sami Zayn talks NXT progression, WWE shop, JR undergoes surgery
- The Wrestling Compadres Slamcast caught up with Sami Zayn at the San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, who talked about how NXT has opened so many doors to wrestlers who may not have had a chance with WWE in years past. During the interview, Zayn noted that he would be able to return towards the end of the year "if he's lucky." He also talked about how NXT has progressed.
"The truth is, when I got here, it was a different culture," Zayn said. "A background from the independents would work against you a bit, but things have changed with all the success of the guys, and you can't argue with the fans."
