WWE Starrcade: Stipulation added to Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley
WWE has announced that the Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley match at Starrcade on December 1 will have a Last Man Standing stipulation.
The two men have been feuding since the September 30 season premiere episode of RAW, where Lana kissed Lashley in front of her husband for the first time, but the red brand Superstars are yet to meet one-on-one in a televised match.
What happened this week between Bobby Lashley and Rusev?
The latest twist in this ongoing love triangle saw Bobby Lashley defeat Titus O’Neil via disqualification on RAW after Rusev interfered and began to attack the former Intercontinental Champion.
As Lana has filed a temporary 90-feet restraining order against Rusev, he was arrested for his attack on Lashley, which ended with the handcuffed “Bulgarian Brute” kicking a piece of the stage over onto his rival.
Although the two Superstars have had lots of matches at live events recently, their only televised encounter against each other came in the five-on-five match at Crown Jewel, where Rusev was one of the Team Hulk Hogan participants who defeated Lashley’s Team Ric Flair.
Elsewhere at Starrcade, WWE has announced that The Kabuki Warriors will defend the Women's Tag Team titles against Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair, Bayley & Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross.
