Some wrestlers just don't get to taste title wins easily in WWE. Sami Zayn's Intercontinental Championship win at WWE Elimination Chamber earlier this year, for instance, was his first on Raw or SmackDown since making a jump from NXT four years ago.

While some characters, like Bray Wyatt, don't need a title, these championships can help to elevate anyone's stars. Young talent can benefit a lot from these title wins - unless they follow up the win with losses to random challengers in non-title matches every week on TV.

In this article, we present to you 5 WWE Superstars who could win their first title on WWE Raw or SmackDown before the final sunset of the year.

#5. Sonya Deville

Sonya Deville should have won the women's tag-team title with her former best friend Mandy Rose, as part of Fire and Desire. However, the duo never got to taste championship gold as a tag team.

We know that WWE has always been high on Rose, and it's safe to say she'll be one of the cornerstones of the WWE's women's division in times to come. However, Deville shouldn't be pushed out of the spotlight. She should get to reach the top of the mountain.

Ever since Fire and Desire's split, Deville's work has been one of the highlights of SmackDown. Her work on the microphone precisely has been A-grade, as she continues to cut solid promos expressing her anguish over Rose always getting the limelight and attention.

Deville has looked a star since WrestleMania, consistently getting better in her role each week. It would be a miss on WWE's part if this doesn't earn her a title shot sometime later this year.

Interestingly, Deville has shown the qualities of the anti-hero charisma that WWE needs in Becky Lynch's absence. Now with Charlotte Flair out for an indefinite time-span, too, Sonya Deville could be just what the company needs.
